At NewTut, we aim to keep things simple, fair, and transparent. This policy outlines how session bookings and payments work, as well as what to expect if plans change.
All sessions are booked directly through our booking system.
Once you’ve selected your date and time, we’ll send you confirmation along with our EFT payment details.
Please note: Your booking is only confirmed once proof of payment has been received.
Bookings not paid within 24 hours may be released to accommodate other learners.
Each one-on-one maths tutoring session is charged at:
R250 for a 30 minute tutoring sessions
R500 for a 60 minute tutoring sessions
All pricing is in South African Rand (ZAR) and applies per session, per learner.
We currently accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) only.
Banking details will be provided upon booking.
Use the learner’s name as your reference when making payment.
Please send proof of payment via WhatsApp or email to finalise your session.
We understand that things come up. Sessions can be rescheduled at no cost as long as you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Any session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice is non-refundable.
A missed session without prior notice will be considered forfeited.
If a learner does not attend a confirmed session and no notice is given, the session will be marked as a no-show.
No-shows are non-refundable and must be rebooked and repaid if tutoring is to continue.
Refunds are only issued if a session is cancelled by NewTut (e.g. tutor unavailability or technical issues on our end).
We do not issue refunds for missed sessions, late cancellations, or unused sessions.
