NewTut began the way many tutoring journeys do — with a learner who felt lost and a parent who just wanted to help.
We saw what happens when a child starts believing they “just aren’t good at maths.” The confidence dips. The stress builds. The homework turns into tears. And eventually, the marks begin to slip too.
So we decided to do something about it — something simple, effective, and built around real support.
Every learner we tutor gets one-on-one attention, a friendly face on the other side of the screen, and a session that’s tailored to their level, pace, and school curriculum (CAPS or IEB).
We don’t believe in overwhelm. We believe in small wins that build real confidence.
